The Convertertec light stack test rig allows for testing and repair of the LSC and MSC light stacks developed by Woodward Power Conversion.

Found in the Senvion MM92 wind turbine, the LSC line side converter and MSC machine side converter form a power converter that is used.

Using the ConverterTec Lightstack Test Stand developed in partnership with Convertertec, the LSC-MSC light stack test rig allows us to load test all light stacks after repair before shipping to the customer. By pushing liquid cooling through the system and loading at high voltage DC, the inverters can be run at high current, allowing for a full load test.
