ENA Electronics is proud to announce our partnership with AVID Controls Inc. We will be distributing Avid’s product line in Canada. AVID Controls offers a unique service in the supply of remanufactured DELTA modules.
All remanufactured DELTA converters are renewed with factory parts, updated with the latest factory versions and fully tested with 100% load (including motor).
The castings are bead blasted, machined surfaces are renewed, all holes are rethreaded and pressure tested to new factory standards; ensuring the best possible quality and performance. Laminates are replaced with the latest sealed assembly and Snubbers/Mini laminates, and DIB(s) are renewed or replaced with the latest parts. Additionally, IGBT’s are replaced with factory parts.
This service is available for ALL models of 800 and 1000A DELTA units.
New Air/Water cooled DELTA’s and Rectifiers are also available upon request.

The Avid Extreme Inverter modules are high reliability liquid cooled inverter modules with nominal ratings from 900A to 1250A at 690Vac and 1400A at 600Vac for use with MV3000 AC drives, controlled by the Common Drive Controller (CDC).
Its significant technical attributes are:
- Sintered solder-free IGBT modules for extended life operation

The Common Drive Controller (CDC) is the heart of the system and interfaces to the DELTA modules and Rectifiers via screened ribbon cables. A 50 way ribbon cable connects the CDC to the I/O interface and connection to the Drive Data Manager is via a 9 way D type connector.
Many man years of programming has gone into the CDC to provide all the required features expected of a drive controller.
The CDC has built in CAN communications and has optional Dual Ethernet via a plug in module.
